A Robust Suite of Applications for Any User Need:
A.Q.U.A.® Capital Technologies is a technology company that designs applications to analyze complex financial issues. A.Q.U.A.® Capital Technology’s flagship offering, A.Q.U.A.® was created in 2002 by the President and CIO of WHM Capital Advisors as an on-line application designed to examine the private business asset within a portfolio of holdings. A.Q.U.A.® Capital Technologies was made independent in 2008 in order to make its existing technologies and design capabilities available to a broader set of financial services professionals.
I. A.Q.U.A.® (Analysis of Quantitative factors for Unsupervised Assets) calculates and tracks the intrinsic prices of both privately-held and publicly traded stocks over time, based on the risk and return characteristics specific to the business. The application was originally designed to examine privately held business assets as components of shareholders’ broader investment portfolios, but has also proven useful in identifying undervalued publicly-traded stocks and understanding differences between stocks’ fundamental and market values. A.Q.U.A.® provides shareholders, management, advisors, and other interested parties with a fluid look at not only what is driving the value of the business, but also which areas of the business are contributing most to shareholder risk. A.Q.U.A.® provides users the tools necessary to discover opportunities for value creation and identify emerging shareholder risks. In addition, because A.Q.U.A.® tracks stock price, value drivers, and shareholder risks over time, users can evaluate management’s historical performance in creating shareholder value.
II. PortfolioTracTM: PortfolioTracTM incorporates the business risk and return characteristics that are calculated in A.Q.U.A.® into an individual’s liquid investment portfolio to determine how much value the business is adding from an investment management perspective. Business risk and return are compared not only to the business owner’s liquid investment assets, but also to the overall market to determine if the business owner is being compensated for the level of investment risk demonstrated by their stock.
III. I.N.G.A.TM (Income Needs Gap Analysis): I.N.G.A.TM determines the current lump sum required by individuals based on total required cash flow. The analysis takes into account but is not limited to such factors as current income, current liquid investments, years to retirement, desired annual income, and investment risk tolerance. This application was developed for business owners as an exit planning tool used to establish a baseline selling price for their business. I.N.G.A.TM, as an A.Q.U.A.® Suite Module, demonstrates to business owners the integral part that their business plays as a component of future income needs.
IV. FuturCastTM: FuturCastTM is a projection and what-if application that bases calculation of future stock price ranges, cash flow, value drivers, and shareholder risks on a business’s historical financial data. In addition, the application allows users to explore what-if scenarios to determine how changes will affect the value of the business. FuturCastTM uses data that is already in A.Q.U.A.® and is especially useful in conjunction with I.N.G.A.TM in providing a platform for users to discuss the changes that should be made to create shareholder value and align performance benchmarks with shareholder objectives.
